Back from the dead...and in a big way

Ok, so I start a blog, I get the flu. Lets hope this isn't a continuous theme. Last week, 3 great songs and one shitty day. Today, the music is equally as stellar:

Burning Down the House -- Talking Heads
You Make My Dreams Come True -- Hall and Oats

David Byrne, Daryl Hall, John Oats...all in my car this morning. If last week is any indication, this day has two possible outcomes: 1.) GREAT day or 2.) Stroke. I'll take either at this point.

One final note. John Oats may be one of the most under-appreciated and undervalued sidekicks in 80's music. While Hall's smooth, jazzy voice is what most folks thought drove this duo, it was really Oats' mustache that powered the band. Go back and look at pictures. That is a mighty 'stache. Finally, lets give him credit for rolling with that 80's mustache well in to the 21 century.

That's balls, Mr. Oats...balls. I applaud you.

UPDATE: Lunchtime drive included a little Def Leppard "Animal". Jack has been unreal good since the start of this blog.

Editorial note: you can never have too much Def Leppard.
